I kid you not! Francesco Capponi has made a pinhole egg camera that he refers to as the Pinhegg. The camera can only take one photo because the eggshell must be broken in order to see the actual photo, thus destroying the camera. Seems like a fun and interesting application for photography, but beware! Because eggs are fragile, the process in not easy. In order to create four good photographs, Francesco destroyed fifty eggs.
He chronicles his journey of making both the camera and the images and gives step by step instructions on how to make your own at Lomography
